Gospel sing announces entertainers

August 4, 2017

Jim and Ellen McBride love to make music together and they have been doing just that during their entire married life of almost 43 years.

Traditional, Southern Gospel, Christian Country and Inspirational styles are among their favorites. They do both original songs and other favorites and like to feature both recent melodies and some of the classics of former years. What motivates their selection of music? They say: "We really like music that focuses on Jesus and the Gospel message. That's where we have found answers to life's challenges, and in sharing that message we can share hope for today and eternity with a world where hope is often lacking."

The McBrides have shared their music at a variety of venues: concert settings, nursing homes, birthday and anniversary parties, Valentine and Christmas programs, picnics and church meetings.

Jim and Ellen have been involved with the ministry of KGLE Radio, AM 590, for many years. Jim has been the manager of this Christian Radio station located in Glendive, Montana for over 20 years and believes that much has been accomplished for the glory of God through the station's almost 55 years of broadcasting the Good News across Eastern Montana, Western North Dakota and beyond. KGLE is a listener-owned, listener-supported station directed by Friends of Christian Radio, Inc. For more information go to http://www.kgle.org.

The McBrides will provide the entertainment for the 2017 Days of '85 Gospel Sing. Everyone is invited to attend, bring a lawn chair or a blanket, and join others on the lawn at First Baptist Church in Ekalaka, 8:00 p.m. Saturday, August 12th. The event is free, and refreshments are provided.
