The Ekalaka Eagle - Your Community Builder

Sixty pounds of the Carter County calendars arrived in Ekalaka last week. "Over the Moon" is the title on this 2018, Carter County Chamber of Commerce Calendar. Two hundred fifteen of these calendars were ordered and will be for sale at Main Street Market, Carter County Museum, and for mail order from Chamber Secretary Alicia Knapp at PO Box 108, Ekalaka, MT 59324. Cost if ordering by mail is $15 per calendar to cover mail and materials. Picking up a copy in town costs $12.

Last year 175 calendars were ordered, and the chamber ran out before all requests were filled. A larger order this year should meet the need. Local people have loved the familiar scenes. Visitors have appreciated them, and friends and family who live away from here enjoy seeing our skies.

These make wonderful Christmas presents, and gifts to hunters who take game from our county.

At the November Holiday Bazaar, the Chamber will be selling calendars from 10 am to 4 pm. Full moons and skies are featured in this year's calendar. A few views also fill pages. The covers say it all, with full moons by Karen Nies and Ronda Cordell. Stewart Cook, Lisa Tauck, Lisa Jourdan, Raquel Williams, Jalyn Klauzer, Caradee Mulder, Sabre Moore and Mardee Guyer complete the list of contributors.
