Carter County Senior Citizens Club was recently awarded a $200 mini-grant from The Governor's Advisory Council on Aging. This grant was presented to Karen Carroll, Carter County Senior Citizens Coordinator, at the Governor's Conference on Aging in Glendive on September 13.

With this grant money, a new 1100-watt microwave and a new telephone was purchased for the senior center. The purpose of the min-grant program is to help facilitate up front funding on innovative ideas and needs that help to serve senior interests in local communities.
