Alzada's best kept secret might just be the impressive trophy room displayed at the home of Mike and Esther Watkins. According to Let 'er Buck 4-H Club leader Shanna Howell, the room rivals that of any Cabela's store. The Watkins home also serves as a hunting lodge for Trophies Plus Outfitters, owned by the couple.

Recently, the Let 'er Buck 4-H club based out of Belle Fourche, SD ventured to Alzada to visit the trophy room. Mike and Esther Watkins graciously hosted and played tour guide as the audience was easily taken to the African plains through the displays. The children and their 4-H leaders saw everything from a giraffe mount to a more recently acquired African Lion taking down a Springbok mount.
Afterwards, the Chris Jackson family treated the group to an Elk chili supper.
