New playground equipment will soon be arriving to Town Park. Joining the current equipment will be a dome covered, 5-foot high turret platform complete with rock climbing wall, slide and rainbow style ladder.

Hanging from its green crossbar will be a regular and a baby swing as well as a spider swing, a suspended net that holds multiple kids.

In addition, an airplane frame teeter-totter, painted blue, red and yellow, will pivot kids up and down.

The $1,900 in equipment came in $600 below the town’s budget and will be ready for Ekalaka’s young jumpers, crawlers and sliders in July.
