Carter County is seeking to fill a part time position to perform the duties of the County Superintendent’s office requiring certification. To hold this position, one must be a qualified elector in Carter County, hold a valid Montana teaching certificate and have at least 3 years of successful teaching experience. The applicant will work with the elected portion of the office and be responsible for statutory duties to include but not limited to; teacher observation and evaluations, administration of standardized tests and data entry in the Office of Public Instruction’s website regarding the rural schools of Alzada, Hammond and Hawk’s Home. Hourly wage is $22.66/hr and the successful applicant may work approximately 12- 15 hours per month during the school year. Applications may be obtained in the Clerk and Recorders Office. The position will close July 2, 2021 at 5 p.m.
