CARTER COUNTY EVENT CENTER SCHEDULING CHANGES Effective December 25, 2021 the Carter County Clerk and Recorder’s Office will no longer schedule events for the Carter County Event Center. On December 23, 2021 the Board of County Commissioners appointed Courtney Montgomery as the Carter County Event Center Coordinator. The Event Center Schedule and keys have been turned over to Courtney who began her duties effective December 25, 2021. To schedule an event, meeting, or any other type of gathering, please contact Courtney by calling - (406) 853-8308. Note that a Facility User’s Rental Agreement has been prepared and a check sheet regarding the facility cleanliness condition will be provided for each user. Courtney will meet with the user and open the facility, the check sheet will be reviewed and upon final use of the facility, Courtney will meet with the user to review the cleanliness and condition of the facility. The Rental Agreement will be reviewed and newly set fees will be collected. A Security Deposit will also be collected and paid in advance $250.00 (or $500.00) if alcohol will be served. New use fees have been set as follows: Non-Profit organizations (4-H, FFA, FHA, Blood Drive, Religious, Charitable Benefits, City, County and State Government-related organizations) will not be required to pay a use fee. Schools and Private Parties (for example: dances, social functions, birthdays reunions, funerals, and wedding reception/dances) shall pay a rental use fee of $50/day. Business Entity Event (for example, auction, vendor show, trade show, or event to which admission is charged) shall pay a rental use fee of $150/day. The Permittee hereby shall pay in advance of the use of the facility. Users of the Event Center should be aware that the locks to the Center will be changed and entrance to the facility will only be allowed by scheduling the event through Courtney.
