NOTICE TO TAXPAYERS The 2023 Personal Property Taxes are due and payable at the office of the Carter County Treasurer in Ekalaka, Montana before 5:00 p.m. June 30, 2023. Unless the taxes are paid prior to that time, the amount due will be delinquent and will draw interest at the rate of 5/6 of 1% a month from the time of delinquency until paid and 2% will be added to the delinquent taxes as a penalty. Payments made by mail must be postmarked on or before June 30, 2023 in order to be processed without penalty and interest.
