Public Works Director
The Town of Ekalaka, Montana is seeking a Public Works Director. The position is full-time and includes the Town’s benefit package. Wages would be dependent on experience (DOE). A GED/High School Diploma is required for this position. Preference is given to applicants licensed as a Class 3 Type A Water Distribution Operator; Class 3 Type C Wastewater System Operator; Class 4 Type B Water Treatment Operator, Certified Pool Operator, and Commercial Driver (CDL). After an offer of employment has been made, employment will be conditional on the acceptable results of a background check and drug and alcohol testing. After employment, the position is subject to reasonable suspicion testing, post-accident testing, and random drug and alcohol testing at any time while on-duty. This position is subject to a 12-month probationary period.
