The Board of Carter County Commissioners are accepting applications for a temporary, part-time custodian position for the Carter County Courthouse and Carter County Event Center. Duties would include general cleaning of the courthouse, dusting, mopping, vacuuming and other items listed in the custodian schedule of tasks. Individual would also be responsible for cleaning at the Carter County Event Center on an as-needed basis. Pay is $18.00 per hour for up to 20 hours per week, ending December 31, 2024. Interested individuals may pick up applications and the Custodians Schedule of Tasks, at the Carter County Clerk and Recorders Office or call 406-775-8749.
