Carter County Gravel Crushing 2024-2025 The County reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids. Carter County Road and Bridge Department is accepting bids for gravel crushing at: The Schultz/ Haggen Creek Pit. 30,000 yards (39,000 tons) The Shepard Pit. 10,000 yards (13,000 tons) The Kennedy Pit. 60,000 yards (78,000 tons) Please bid each pit separately in individual, sealed envelopes with the pit clearly marked. All Bids are due October 07, 2024 at 9 a.m. The county reserves the right to adjust the yardage quantity. The gravel shall be crushed to 1” and all work must be completed by June 30, 2025. Successful bidders must provide proof of current Montana contractor’s license and Workers Compensation Insurance for hires.
