County Health Administrator

POSITION OPENING: Carter County is accepting applications for the position of a full time County Health Administrator. The position offers great challenges and a flexible weekday schedule. Being a Registered Nurse is preferred but not required. Successful applicant will perform activities, which protect and promote the health of our citizens including providing a variety of skilled nursing services in venues including public schools and client homes. The Public Health Administrator will support all public health related duties, including promotion and maintenance of good health, flu shot clinics, W.I.C. programs and immunization clinics. The individual will work with a variety of ages, from infants to elderly. Will work with Healthcare Providers at Dahl Memorial to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the health and welfare of county residents. Successful applicants will hold a high school diploma or equivalent and completion of an accredited nursing program or higher. The position requires current and valid license to practice as a Licensed Nurse in the State of Montana. Must possess or be eligible for Montana driver’s license. The successful applicant will be subject to a pre-employment criminal and motor vehicle background checks.
