POSITION OPENING: Carter County is accepting applications for the position of a full-time County Health Nurse and Grant Writer. The position offers great challenges and a flexible weekday schedule. Successful applicant will perform activities, which protect and promote the health of our citizens including providing a variety of skilled nursing services in venues including public schools and client homes. The County Health Nurse/Grant Writer will support all public health related duties, including promotion and maintenance of good health, flu shot clinics, home health visits, Maternal and Child Care checkups and immunization clinics. The individual will work with a variety of ages, from infants to elderly. Will work with Healthcare Providers at Dahl Memorial to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the health and welfare of county residents. Successful applicant must hold a high school diploma or equivalent and completion of an accredited nursing program or higher. The position requires current and valid license to practice as a Licensed Nurse in the State of Montana. Must possess or be eligible for Montana driver’s license.
