Summer Employment Opportunity

The Carter County Weed Board will be accepting applications for Temporary Employees for the Carter County Weed Department Spray Crew. Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, ATV/UTV operation, map reading, record keeping, weed ID and weed spraying. Good people skills will also be considered in the review process. Applicants must hold a valid driver’s license. Work will begin no earlier than May 15, 2019 and go no later than October 25, 2019. Camp Needmore

PART TIME EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY The Camp Needmore Board will be accepting applications for one Part Time Employee to work approximately 30 hours per week in May and 5 to 20 hours per week from June through November, and take reservations during the winter and early spring months. This position completes a variety of tasks related to the use and general upkeep of Camp Needmore; this includes taking reservations and checking guests in and out. Prepare the Camp each spring by working with various youth organizations and/or volunteers to ready cabins and buildings for use. Assist in landscaping including mowing and weed eating around the buildings. Successful candidate will be required to attend Board meetings and report to the board camper activity and schedule and update the website.
