Season starts in April and runs through October with flexible hours and schedules. Starting wage of $17/hour or more, depending on experience, with seasonal bonuses paid based on performance and longevity. DEN ERADICATORS WANTED:The Carter County Predator Board is actively seeking individuals who may be interested in providing temporary Part-time services in Predator Control in the County. The individual must hold a current Independent Contractor’s License with proper Workman’s Compensation Exemption. Must hold a valid driver’s license and carry proper Liability Insurance. This individual will control the predators in the county by eradicating and or hunting coyotes and fox dens. Contractor shall provide all equipment, supplies, and personnel needed for the eradication or other control measures deemed by him/her to be the best control measures for coyote and fox dens. Contractor shall work with the Aerial flyer on an as needed basis to assist in ground work in problem areas as may be requested by the producer. Contractor must maintain a daily log which is specific as to the month, day, and year, number of predators killed, property on which the predator was killed and covered and time expended in control of the predators. The Contractor will be responsible to acquaint him/herself with land ownership of each landowner, be specific not to hunt on any property for which there is not current permission slips signed by said landowner. The Contractor will abide by and honor any laws and regulations for hunting predators as may be outlined by the State of Montana and the United States Government. Closing date for applications is 12 p.m. on March 18th, 2024. The Town of Ekalaka, Montana is seeking a Public Works Director. The position is full-time and includes the Town’s benefit package. Wages would be dependent on experience (DOE). A GED/High School Diploma is required for this position. Preference is given to applicants licensed as a Class 3 Type A Water Distribution Operator; Class 3 Type C Wastewater System Operator; Class 4 Type B Water Treatment Operator, Certified Pool Operator, and Commercial Driver (CDL). After an offer of employment has been made, employment will be conditional on the acceptable results of a background check and drug and alcohol testing. After employment, the position is subject to reasonable suspicion testing, post-accident testing, and random drug and alcohol testing at any time while on-duty. This position is subject to a 12-month probationary period.
