Ekalaka Public Schools is hiring Bus route drivers for the 23-24 school year. Training is provided and paid including training to obtain your CDL. We are looking for a Chalk Buttes driver (Non CDL) with 3.5 guaranteed hours or a Chalk Buttes CDL driver with 4.5 guaranteed hours, starting January 2nd. We are also looking for a Mill Iron (non CDL) driver with 3.5 guaranteed hours, or a Mill Iron/Highway 7 combined CDL driver for 4.5 guaranteed hours. Starting wage for a CDL Bus driver with S and P endorsements is $21.72 per hour for route and activity drive time; starting wage for a non CDL driver and activity wait time starts at $16.00 per hour. Drivers must comply with Montana School Bus Standards and FMCSA regulations such as random drug testing, safe driving record and other requirements. Public Works Director

The Town of Ekalaka, Montana is seeking a Public Works Director. The position is full-time and includes the Town’s benefit package. Wages would be dependent on experience (DOE). A GED/High School Diploma is required for this position. Preference is given to applicants licensed as a Class 3 Type A Water Distribution Operator; Class 3 Type C Wastewater System Operator; Class 4 Type B Water Treatment Operator, Certified Pool Operator, and Commercial Driver (CDL). After an offer of employment has been made, employment will be conditional on the acceptable results of a background check and drug and alcohol testing. After employment, the position is subject to reasonable suspicion testing, post-accident testing, and random drug and alcohol testing at any time while on-duty.
