Local baseball and softball supporters have been trying to get a new ball field in Ekalaka since the county elected to fence off the old field that sat between the fairgrounds and high school football field. Funeral services for Jane Brewster, of Ekalaka, will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, August 20, 2020 at the First Baptist Church in Ekalaka with Pastor Steve DeFord officiating.
