Last Friday at home the CCHS varsity volleyball team defeated Broadus in three straight sets. The Dogs won the first set, 25 -19, the second 25-20 and the third 25-17. As a team, the girls had 10 aces, 33 kills, 37 digs and 28 assists. Whitney Kittelmann led the team in assists with 18 while sister Kari Kittelmann totaled 11 digs. The Carter County Bulldogs lost a tough conference football game in Scobey last Saturday. Blue received the opening kickoff. On their second play from scrimmage, junior back Seth Kennedy was injured. The Bulldogs were already down one back going into the contest and Kennedy's injury kept him from returning. The Bureau of Land Management Montana State Office has published a notice of availability and a final supplemental environmental impact statement (EIS) that augments analysis for the 2015 Miles City Field Office Approved Resource Management Plan (RMP). Kenneth "Kenny" Grenstiner passed away from natural causes, at his home on September 30, 2019. He was 91. Kenny was born April 26, 1928 near Linton, North Dakota, the 3rd child to Antone & Helen (Vetch) Grenstiner. Formal schooling for Kenny was limited.
