Sagebrush Service Club’s Annual Holiday Bazaar is quickly approaching. The event will take place on Saturday, November 18th from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Carter County High School gym. This year lunch, pie and coffee will be available. Free babysitting will also be offered throughout the day for preschool age children, and door prizes will be drawn every 30 minutes. Montana Shakespeare in the Parks' performance of "Measure for Measure" was attended by several members of the community on Tuesday evening at the old nursing home lawn. The performance was sponsored by Sagebrush Service Club. It was one of only a few events happening in Ekalaka on Independence Day, and thus provided a great way for many to spend their holiday evening. MSIP recently announced that their 51st summer tour productions open in Bozeman, Montana, with performances of William Shakespeare's Measure for Measure, June 14-17, and Alexandre Dumas' The Three Musketeers, June 21-24. Recently, Sagebrush Service Club announced the winners of their annual Christmas lighting contest. First place this year went to Gary and Nita Schallenberger, second place went to Mark and Judy Wright, and third place went to Eric and Lena Lovelace. Judges also gave the top decorated business prize to Summit National Bank.
