    The CCHS Close-Up student organization will be hosting a spaghetti dinner in conjunction with this year’s “Evening with the Arts” event. Close-Up is an opportunity for students from all over the nation to travel to Washington D.C. and participate in a youth tour.     The Mid-Rivers Telephone Cooperative, Inc. Annual Meeting will be held on May 23, 2023, at the Richland County Event Center in Sidney, Montana.     There will be two in-person Hunter Education classes offered in Miles City in March, and online registration in now available for the first class. Hunter Education students must be at least age 10 by the first day of class.     Dog licenses for the 2023 calendar year are currently available at Ekalaka Town Office. Per town ordinance, all dogs within the town of Ekalaka are required to be licensed every year. Throughout the year, newly acquired dogs or new dogs in town shall be licensed withing 30 days of arrival and puppies shall be licensed within 5 months of their birth.     A father-daughter dance is set to take place this Friday, February 3rd at Carter County Event Center. The dance, first put on in December of 2019 by the Puptown Pioneers Homemakers Club, has become an annual event for area families.     This will be the third year for Alzada's Tricks and Treats Halloween event. The event was the brainchild of Miranda Hendrickson and Catherine Richards back in 2019. The idea behind it was to have an indoor Trunk-or-Treat style event which has gained in popularity in recent years. Having the event indoors reduces concerns over unpredictable fall weather and the need to wear snowsuits underneath costumes. The event was not held in 2020 but resumed last year.
