At the Southern C Divisional Track Meet in Laurel last Thursday, four CCHS track and field athletes qualified for the state meet. The top five athletes from each event punched a ticket to state.

Tanner Fix will be competing in the 110 meter hurdles, the 300 meter hurdles, and the 400 meter at state. Claire Callahan will be competing in the 100, the 200, and the high jump. Kyleigh Bonsell will be competing in the 300 meter hurdles. Kimberlee Elmore will be competing in the 100 meter hurdles, the 300 meter hurdles, and the triple jump. The state meet will take place in Laurel this Friday and Saturday.

The CCHS boys team finished the divisional meet in eighth place. The girls finished in fifth. Following is a listing of each athlete’s results from last Thursday’s meet (time or distance, placing).
