Beware of scammers

Reports have been circulating that scammers are calling residents, or in certain cases, stopping by homes in the immediate area. These scammers are telling their victims that they can give them huge discounts on their satellite television service.

Callers ask for a name and account number before trying to get a credit card number over the phone.

Please be weary of these scammers and make sure of the party you are speaking with before giving out any information....
