Even though school has been out for almost a month now, summer vacation hasn't quite started for the Carter County FFA chapter. On May 18th, Grafton Bonsell, Mick O'Connor, Seth Kennedy, Hannah & Heather Labree, Jordan King, and Jaelee Strangford, with the help of Sarah Strangford, Cam Labree, and Mr. Whitney, cleaned a stretch of Hwy 323 to fulfill the chapter's part in the Adopt-A-Highway Project.

Then, on June 15th-18th, Strangford and the Labree twins attended the Alumni Leadership Camp (ALC) in Highwood. The weekend was filled with informational workshops on how to be a confident,...
