The 2017 pet parade is scheduled for 12 noon on Friday, August 11th at Carter COunty Fairgrounds. Sign-up for parade entries starts at 11:00 a.m.

As mentioned in last week’s issue, the two decorating categories this year are: Famine or Feast (keeping with the Days of ‘85 theme, “Pioneer Days to Modern Ways”), and Wacky, Tacky, Crazy—Odds and Ends (to give pet paraders lots of room to be creative).
