Bessie M. Akers

Bessie M. Akers went to be with the Lord on Saturday, July 29, 2017. She was born in Plevna, Montana, to Amos & Cordia Lambert on February 17, 1920.

She was a retired Civil Service employee, a member of Mt. View Alliance Church. Bessie was a caregiver for all of her sisters and loved helping others in need. Bessie honored the Lord in everything she did.

Bessie was preceded in death by her husband, Francis Akers; parents; Amos & Cordia Lambert; brothers: George Lambert, Lyle Lambert and Mathew Lambert; sisters: May Hoag, Rachel Hoag, Florence Nims, Lillie Laughlin and Minerva Waylett.
