American Legion benefit Sept. 24

September 8, 2017

American Legion Post 60 will hold its annual pancake supper on Sunday, September 24. The post’s fundraiser will be held at the Wagon Wheel Café in Ekalaka from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m.

The supper will feature pancakes and sausage prepared by post members along with coffee and orange juice for drinks. A free will donation will be asked, and 50-50 tickets will be offered for those wanting to participate.

New this year will be the drawing for the Post’s rifle raffle, which will be held following the supper. Tickets are $10 each for a Ruger Mark 77 Hawkeye .30-06 rifle as first prize with a $100 second prize and $50 for third prize. Tickets for the raffle will be available during the pancake supper.

Proceeds from the event will be used for post activities such as maintaining highway white cross fatality markers, sending CCHS students to Boys State, and for scholarships for local students.

The public is encouraged to attend this event.
