In addition to election of board members at the Dahl Memorial Healthcare Association annual meeting on September 14, there will be discussion and consideration of proposed bylaw changes regarding election of board members and filling vacant board positions.

In last week’s issue of the Eagle, it was reported that Dwayne Bruce withdrew his nomination for consideration in the Dahl Memorial board election. He did not.

The confusion occurred because of uncertainty with bylaws. Bruce stated that he would not become a board member if it meant he could not be an active EMT at the same time. Nowhere in the association bylaws does it state that this would be a conflict. His name is on the election ballots for the DMHA Board of Directors.
