CCHS falls to Westby-Grenora

It was tough sledding for the Bulldogs during their homecoming game against Westby-Grenora last Friday night at Rowley Field. The Thunder, who are the number one ranked team in the state, primarily run a spread offense with a heavy emphasis on passing. In fact, all of their offensive scores came through the air against CCHS. They also added six points on a 34 yard fumble return.

Usually, Westby-Grenora runs a lot of short routes like hitches, slants, drags, and arrows. Occasionally, they will throw the ball deep after setting the defense up. Friday in Ekalaka was different.
