Back Row (L to R): Hannah LaBree, Heather LaBree, Jasmine Erickson. Middle: Jaelee Strangford. Front: Kyleigh Bonsell.

On September 26th, the local FFA chapter attended Fall Districts in Forsyth, Montana. Five members attended: Kyleigh Bonsell, Heather & Hannah LaBree, Jaelee Strangford, and Jasmine Erickson. The five girls had a busy day filled with range and livestock competitions, and, in the case of the LaBree twins and Strangford, both!

The range team consisted of Hannah, Heather, Jaelee, and Kyleigh. Kyleigh placed 5th in the range competition, while Heather LaBree placed 22nd, Hannah LaBree placed 30th, and Jaelee Strangford placed 24th.

The livestock team came home a win under their belts, as the LaBree twins tied for first place. Jaelee Strangford placed 24th, and Jasmine Erickson placed 30th. But, the competitions doesn't end there.

From November 9th through November 11th the chapter will be traveling to the John Deere Ag Expo in Bozeman, Montana, to compete in activities like livestock, food science, mechanics, vet science, and Agriculture Education. Then, starting November 1st, the Carter County FFA chapter will be starting their annual fruit sales, so make sure to contact a member to order your fruit!
