CCHS Close Up students hold community talent show, raise enough funds for trip

CCHS Close Up students dance to "YMCA" by Village People while judges deliberate a winner of their talent show.

Last Thursday, CCHS Close Up held a community talent show, the last fund-raiser needed for their upcoming trip to Washington D.C. this summer. A free-will donation soup and sandwich dinner featuring Tricia Lovec's famous cheesy potato soup was served.

After dinner, attendees enjoyed a talent show with around ten acts. The acts included magic tricks, singing, dancing, ukulele playing, and three, short drama productions.

Local judges Deb Yost, Dennis Bishop, and Amanda Coleman selected first, second, and third place acts who received cash prizes.
