A jury found Jedediah Keith Larson guilty of aggravated assault on May 17, according to court documents.

Larson was also found guilty of a misdemeanor charge of partner or family member assault. He was found not guilty on a misdemeanor count of unlawful restraint.

The felony aggravated assault charge carries a maximum penalty of 20 years state imprisonment and a $50,000 fine.

For all defendants, the court orders a presentence investigation report by the probation officer which includes the defendant's criminal history, the circumstance of the offense, the impact on the victim, any drug, alcohol and psychological information pertaining to the defendant and an interview with the defendant.

Prosecuting Attorney Darcy Wassmann told The Eagle that, generally, prosecutors factor this information into their sentence recommendations.

Larson is currently in Fallon County Jail awaiting sentencing scheduled for July 10.

The charges stem from the evening of March 10, 2017 and early into the next morning. According to a court affidavit, Terra D. Brewer called 911 at 12:30 a.m., "indicating that she needed to go to the hospital as [Larson] beat her up... ."

The Carter County Sheriff's department arrived at the home she and Larson shared and transported her to the hospital. Physician Assistant Dale Diede's medical report "indicates [Brewer] suffered, as a result of domestic/partner assault, a left jaw/face contusion, left wrist sprain, left seventh rib fracture, left shoulder pain, concussion and anterior head contusion."

On March 13, 2017 Brewer provided a statement to Sheriff Kittelmann recapping the events leading up to her call. According to court documents, on March 10, her and Larson were at Dawg House Pub in Ekalaka when Larson became angry and called her derogatory names before he "went after [Eric Lovec who] wrote in a newspaper listing his kids with another man's last name."

According to Brewer's statement, she and Larson arrived home around 10 p.m. and got into a physical altercation. Larson locked Brewer inside of the home before saying he would kill her and all of her family. Brewer called 911 after Larson had gone to sleep.

Larson was arrested on May 15, 2017.

Nearly a year later, according to court documents, on March 9, 2018, while out on bond, Larson allegedly threatened Tyler Dick with a knife before walking into the Sheriff's office and saying, "why don't you just take me to jail or just shoot me."

A bench warrant was issued March 16 and Larson was arrested three days later.

According to a court minutes report, during an initial court appearance Larson denied allegations including tampering with an alcohol monitoring SCRAM bracelet and threatening Dick.

He is being held on $50,000 bond while he awaits sentencing.
