Chamber seeks fireworks donations

The Carter County Chamber of Commerce is once again sponsoring an Independence Day celebration on Main Street in Ekalaka on the evening of Wednesday, July 4. At dusk there will be a fireworks display for all to enjoy.

The bash on main will include an array of games and activities that are fun for the entire family. Some of these activities may include a cake walk, darts, kids’ fishing booth, egg toss, bean bags, horseshoes, cotton candy or snow cones, races, face painting and tug-of-war, just to name a few. All chamber members are encouraged to set up their own booth or game.

After the bash concludes, attendees will enjoy the chamber sponsored fireworks display. The chamber is still seeking donations for the show. Around $1200 has already been raised, half of the total goal. Donations can be given to any chamber member.

Downtown businesses will be open throughout the day. Bring the entire family to Main Street in Ekalaka on July 4 for a day full of fun.
