Bulldogs start season strong

CCHS started this year's football season on the right foot with a strong win against the Froid/Medicine Lake Red Hawks last Friday.

The Red Hawks came out in a tight formation and were stuffed repeatedly by the Dogs run defense. Blues first score of the season came via safety when junior Mick O'Connor sacked Walker Ator in the end zone with 4:29 left in the first quarter.

On the next series, O'Connor recovered a fumble and gave the ball back to the Bulldog offense. Freshman Turner Tooke scored seconds later on a 19 yard run, his first ever high school touch. Senior Caleb Fix ran in the extra p...
