Annual hospital meeting slated for September 20

Bond for new hospital on November ballot

In January, the Eagle reported that the most recent plan for a new hospital was to build on the old Elementary school site.

Recently, county commissioners passed bond language. It will be presented to the public in the form of a bond election in the General Election held this November.

The bond amount has been set at $15,110,000.00, and would be used for "the purpose of paying the costs of designing, constructing, equipping, and furnishing on property located at the corner of East Park Street and Central Avenue South in Ekalaka or other acceptable site a new Dahl Memorial hospital to be owned...
