Archery management hunts for antlerless mule deer continue in Ekalaka, Glendive

The general hunting season has ended, but management season archery hunts for antlerless mule deer continue in both Glendive and Ekalaka through Feb. 15, 2019. No bucks may be harvested after the close of the general season (Nov. 25, 2018).

The purpose of these hunts is to reduce conflicts with mule deer by reducing deer numbers in and adjacent to urban areas. Glendive has utilized this tool for several seasons, but this is the first year for Ekalaka’s management hunt. Below is some general information about these hunts:
