Medicare beneficiaries nationwide should have recently received a new Medicare card in the mail.

Beneficiaries are reminded to carry and use their new card when they need care, protect their Medicare number and card just like they would protect a credit card and destroy their old card to help protect their identity.

Anyone who has not received a new card should sign in to their secure MyMedicare.gov account to see their Medicare number and print an official card. Beneficiaries who don’t have a MyMedicare account yet can sign up for free at MyMedicare.gov.
