State FCCLA results

On March 22 the Carter Country FCCLA Chapter competed in different STAR Event projects against other FCCLA members across the state on the MSU Campus in Bozeman.

Whitney Kittelmann, Kari Kittelmann, and Tylee Loehding received first place and a gold rating on their illustrated talk on breast cancer. Gracie Tooke received first place as well and a gold rating on her hospitality and tourism project on Ekalaka. Both projects will have the opportunity to compete at the National FCCLA Conference scheduled for June 30 through July 4 in Anaheim, California.

Tori Tooke and Wyatt Kittelmann placed in the top five and received a gold rating on their chapter service project about the Winter Wonderland Carnival that was held in January. Lucy Branson and Emily O’Connell received a silver rating on their promoting and publicizing FCCLA project. Katie Tooke also received a silver rating on her teach and train project about teaching younger children to recycle.

Overall, the Carter County FCCLA chapter had a fun experience meeting new people from all over the state, attending fun workshops and representing Ekalaka as well as they did.
