Commencement exercises for the Carter County High School Class of 2019 were held on Saturday. A large crowd of family and friends gathered to wish the one-hundredth CCHS graduating class well. Though a small class with only six students, they were still double the size of the first graduating class of 1919. In addition to being a milestone year, the graduation will be memorable as over five inches of wet, heavy snow covered the ground for much of the day.
