Carter County Chamber of Commerce sponsored activities on Main Street prior to their fireworks display on Independence Day.

Several "Minute to Win It" games were played while others on main enjoyed playing cornhole on the triangle or spent time on the museum lawn. At dark, Ekalaka Volunteer Fire Department lit off fireworks from the track and arena for all residents to enjoy.
