LaBree twins named 2019 SaWUSA Co-Athletes of the Year

Hannah and Heather LaBree were recently named 2019 SaWUSA (Student Athlete World USA) co-Student-Athletes of the Year.

Hannah and Heather are rising seniors at CCHS. They competed on SaWUSA's Under 19 Women's Basketball team that took home the silver medal at the United World Games in Austria earlier this summer. Their team consisted of seven girls and a coach from all over the United States.

Both girls are actively involved in sports and extracurriculars. They credit growing up on a ranch as being an important part of their personality.

The 5th Annual Student-Athlete of the Year award is SaWUSA's highest honor given to the organizations travelers.

This traveler demonstrates athletic success in International competition and also appreciates the culture and diversity of the different places visited. They display awesome patriotism and interact positively with new International friends and make a strong positive impression about America! They demonstrate leadership throughout the trip with their teammates and coaches.

2017 – Michael Walker, Barbados Men's Basketball Stars

2018 – Tre'von Williams, United World Games Men's Basketball U19 East

2019 – Hannah & Heather LaBree, United World Games Women's Basketball U19
