The eldest and youngest members in attendance. Gary Nies, just shy of 83 years old, was the eldest. He is the son of the late Ted Sr. and Esther (Turbiville) Nies. Rivalee Raye Terrazas, just shy of five months, was the youngest. She is the daughter of Rick Terrazas Jr. and Marlee Nies.
The Nies clan held their family reunion over the weekend starting July 26 at Camp Needmore. Approximately ninety-five family members were in attendance. There was a lot of visiting, reacquainting and acquainting with those who haven't been to recent reunions or were newcomers. Good food and dancing were enjoyed. Family members traveled from Quebec, Canada, California and many places in between to attend.
