Most of the discussion at Dahl Memorial Healthcare Association’s meeting last week was about the new facility project. Dahl CEO Ryan Tooke explained that the association is currently working on electrical, plumbing and heating bids.

“We are trying to get them within range,” he said.

Tooke expects groundwork to start at the new facility site on the first week of October.

Pharmacist Michelle Mehling has been busier than expected at the new Dahl Memorial Healthcare Community Pharmacy that opened in July, Tooke told the Eagle. “Clinic numbers are up too,” he said.

Mehling gave a report about the pharmacy at the meeting. Dale Diede, PA-C also gave a presentation at the meeting and described several of the services that the clinic provides, emphasizing annual wellness visits.

Leah Branson was recognized at the meeting for providing five years of service at the facility. Shauna Kerr, Virginia Rychner, Katie Stieg and Sharon Baker were recognized for 10 years of service.

Melody Loken (incumbent) and Ashley Padden were elected to the board of directors at the annual meeting.
