The Gumbo Gophers 4-H club met on December 7th at the Alzada Community Hall. President Natile Foxley called the meeting to order. Breanna Ulmer led the pledges. Treasurer Keenan McInerney gave the treasurer's report. Song leader Alivia Foxley led us in singing Silent Night. After the business meeting, the Gophers played a Christmas bag exchange game.

Twenty goody bags were filled with sausage, cheese, fruit, bread, cookies, popcorn balls, fudge, crackers, Chex mix and candy. These sacks go to the elderly in several communities. Christmas carols were sung at some homes and the goody bags we...
