Areas in the southern portion of the county received a lot of rainfall in a short amount of time on July 29. A strong thunderstorm parked itself in the area, prompting the National Weather Service to issue a flood warning for the county. NWS received reports of over 4 inches of rain in some areas, and 4.25 inches at Albion within a 1.5 hour span.
