Ekalaka schools closed this week

Last Thursday the unified school board for Ekalaka Public Schools approved distance learning during the entire week of Thanksgiving.

In total, the school is closed for two and a half days this week; Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday morning. School was already scheduled to be closed for the Thanksgiving holiday from Wednesday afternoon through the rest of the week.

According to school officials, “the school buildings will be closed for sanitizing and to keep our students and staff as healthy as possible.”
