Dahl Memorial working with Montana Cancer Control Program

January is Cervical Cancer Awareness month. Cervical cancer was once the leading cause of cancer death for women in the United States. Now, thanks to preventative screenings and the HPV vaccination, it is the most preventable of all female cancers.

Dahl Memorial is now working with the Montana Cancer Control Program (MCCP) which offers free cervical and breast cancer screenings and diagnostic procedures for eligible women living in Montana who are uninsured or underinsured.

Even when a patient has insurance, there are instances when follow-up diagnostic breast and/or cervical tests are needed. MCCP covers most diagnostic procedures to enrolled MCCP clients and can help eligible women pay deductibles and out of pocket costs that insurance does not cover.

Call Dahl Memorial to discuss eligibility and get up to date on preventative health screenings and vaccines.
