Lady Bulldogs defeat Lady Cougars

The CCHS girls' JV squad played a half game against the Cougars in Plevna on Saturday. Four players scored for the Lady Bulldogs on their way to victory. The girls went only 3 for 10 on free throws. They won by four points and had a 6-point lead after the first.

The varsity girls outscored Plevna in every quarter and blew the game wide open in the third by outscoring the Cougars 22-3 on their way to a 32-point victory. Seven players scored for CCHS and four finished the game in double figures. As a team, Blue shot 59 percent on free throws, 40 percent on 2-pointers, and 17 percent on threes. CCHS out-rebounded Plevna, 37-32, and won the turnover battle, 13-28.
