Make your mark at Veteran's Park

Perso Park, the 2,250 square foot lot owned by the Town that is located at the corner of Speelmon Street East and Main Street in Ekalaka, will soon undergo an exciting change with the addition of Ekalaka Veteran's Park. This new construction will feature a beautiful stone wall with seals from all of the military branches, a masoned patio, and benches for rest and reflection.

The Town of Ekalaka, Carter County Chamber of Commerce, Carter County Community Foundation and Veteran's Park Committee are working together on this project and are seeking funding opportunities with the help of the Eastern Plains Economic Development Center.

Friends and family are invited to purchase engraved name plates for $50, which will be permanently placed on the benches in honor of loved ones who have served. Ekalaka Town Office will be accepting donations and selling the name plates. To send a donation, please make all checks out to the Carter County Community Foundation with "Veteran's Park" in the memo line and mail to: Town of Ekalaka, PO Box 338, Ekalaka, MT 59324.
