Rosalie "Rosie or Rody" Tegen passed away surrounded by her family on May 18, 2021. Rosie was a well-loved citizen of Stayton, Oregon.

She was born in Ekalaka, Montana on January 11, 1944 to Lora and Iva Mary Ludwick. The family moved to Stayton in 1952. Sadly, her husband, Ronald Tegen passed away on September 5, 2010.

After her education Rosie went to work for Guerdons Industries as a manufacturing quality inspector for thirty years. Rosie was friendly and vivacious. She never met a stranger and embraced everyone. Her joy in life was visiting with her many friends and spending time with her family.

Rosie is preceded in death by her parents: Lora and Iva Ludwick; 5 brothers; Dean, Wayne, David, Sonny and Bob. She is survived by her sister Lois Joan Grodeman of San Diego, CA and her sister Sandy Branch of Lyons. Her children: Ronda Lehman of Stayton; Rodney Tegen of Stayton; Randy Tegen of Silverton. Rosie shared the joy of 5 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Serving the family, North Santiam Funeral Service, Stayton.
