Area student athletes will have the opportunity to attend a basketball camp at Carter County High School later this month.

Called the Summit Basketball Camp, and named in part for former University of Tennessee Women’s Coach Pat Summitt, the camp will be offered to boys and girls entering kindergarten through eighth grades. Skills offered include 1 on 1, passing, dribbling, 3 on 3, shooting, 5 on 5, defense and more.

The camp will be held June 21-23 in Ekalaka.

Camp times are:

8 a.m. to 11 a.m. for boys grades 5-8,

12 noon to 2 p.m. for boys and girls grades K-4,
