Tracksters compete at state

Three CCHS athletes competed at the MHSA Class C State Track and Field Meet in Missoula over the weekend. Freshman Ethan Frye competed on the men's side. Fellow freshman Brynn Loehding competed on the women's side, as did sophomore Katie Tooke.

Frye ran a 19.47 in the 110 meter hurdle prelims, missing out on the finals. Twin Bridges senior Tate Smith won the event with a time of 15.62.

In the 300 meter hurdles, Frye ran a personal best of 47.11 and finished in twenty-first place. Smith topped the podium again in the 300 hurdles with a time of 41.19.
