At the beginning of the week, three individuals had filed for two, 2-year terms for election to the Ekalaka Town Council. There is also an opening for one, 4-year term on the council and one, 4-year term for mayor.

The deadline to file for the upcoming town election is Monday, June 21 at 5 p.m. Interested individuals can find more information at the Carter County Clerk and Recorder’s office.
