The Little House

As I sit here, memories come to mind. As a child, I have come to Ekalaka to visit many times. Each visit builds on a journey of the past to the present, for which I am grateful to know my father's path.

As an adult, my Kalstrom cousins, the Waterlands, and many others have welcomed my family and I. We reminisce of days gone by.

A small place we have come to stay, in this quaint Town of Ekalaka. A building our family calls the "Little House" on Kalstrom Way. Many town's people call it a cottage, that is such an honor. This " Little House " has stood the test of time. Four generations of Kalstrom gatherings, from Nils and Ina family's visits to my own children's presence.

We have painted the "Little House " to renew her small place in a town of great history, and in the hearts of our family's treasury. Tomorrow is another day blessed by the Heavens Above.

May the "Little House " continue to whisper the love we find on life's journey. Always circling back to our roots in Ekalaka, for a gathering, a memory or a next generation of life. - the "Little House" standing quietly, ready for all to see.

- Fondly,

Louie, Karen (Kalstrom),

Michael & Noelle Aguirre
